Weebl & Bob

Weebl & Bob are what the interweb was created for. The perfect union of Flash animation, stupid voices and even stupider storylines. If you haven’t heard of them by now you must have been living in a cave or something! Go and have a look now, I command it! And while you are there check out the rest of Weebl’s (the animator/comedy genius, not the egg) stuff.

Anyway, the reason for the post is that a new episode has just been released, but more interestingly, Weebl’s long suffering sidekick Bob Bobertson has decided to share his thoughts with the world in a new blog!

New look sidebars

Good some nice feedback one the theme ( yes i know it’s similar to the last), hopefully now I have the basic one in place I can tweak it to how I need.

I have cleaned up the side menus to make them more compact and hopefully not too overloaded with information

Planetside Reserves

As you may or may not know Dok and myself play a MMOFPS/RPG called Planetside, it has been running for nearly 3 years now (launched May 19th 2003). Until now has always been a subscription game with the odd 14-30 free day trails floating about the place. Set to launch today (23rd) is a Planetside Demo named Planetside reserves (FAQ).

?

If you want to see what planetside is like before downloading the client then check out this video (8mb/16mb – MS Media Player 10) created by player MarcoPolo as part of the UK fans guerilla marketing campaign.

Lightning Tank EventIf you are going to play then drop me a line chaoticdecimation[at]chaosnc.com or pay my outfit (ChaosNC) a visit at our website, we will be glad to show you the ropes, answer any questions you have and run a teamspeak server for use in game.

Collide-Foamy-Tool

Just checked my E-mail to find a newletter from Collide, who it seems are well happy to have two posters shown in the new Foamy rant about CDs. But I do like my Digipacks 😉

If you haven’t heard of Collide (Industrial-EBM), then take a trip to the site linked above and have a listen.

While on the topic of music, tickets for Tool Gigs are due to go on sale at 9am (friday), so thats another gig to add to my list for this year. I have only ever seen them once and it was outside at a feastival, but I was covered in mud and it had been raining on us for several hours at this point so rather than sitting back and enjoying the music, I was trying to stop my hands from freezing up and warming them on over priced cups of so called tea.

New Theme

Yay, finally after many designs and much testing I have re-themed the website to something I like ( if you still see the red box containing the header, you will need to hold shift and refresh). If you have any feedback please leave a comment.

I have started to build up more content on-top of the items that are posted to the blog, link to these can be found in the top right of the site. There is now an about page, that briefly tells you about the website and there is also a section for Author information with a bit of info about us.

In Addtion to that i have started to load up my b3ta gallery so that it is visable through the theme. My original b3ta gallery is still online while I do the new pages.

Updated:

For some unknown reason Serendipity hold the formatng of the date for the blog in language files, as if this wasn’t annoying enough the format it holds for the date is in the Smarty date format which doesn’t have a method of showing the ordinal suffix of a day. Picky, maybe but considering the the Smarty engine is build using the existing php function it wouldn’t have been too tricky
