I found this post on wiredblogs about a world disaster map run by the Havaria Emergency and Disaster Information Services.
The map here is a fairly big list of world events including Earthquakes, Avianflu even some Vehicle Accidents.
Clicking On one of the many icons will bring up information on that event ( suspected ebola outbreak in Congo ).
All very scary, all earthquake flashing up and know it only shows those over 3 on the Richter scale.
