Everybody’s gone to the console?

everyonesI hoped that Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture from ‘The Chinese Room’, would show signs of a release on the PC, but as we stand on the eve of the games launch it would seem the partnership with Sony Santa Monica means the game is Playstation 4 bound and no other platforms are in scope.

The exclusive nature of triple A titles usually bugs me but there is usually a large cash incentive in the mix somewhere but with a game partly developed by an Indie studio I find the locked to one platform a weird stance. However I wish the Devs good luck with the launch but sadly I’m not going to part with over £300 to play one game not matter how good it looks and sounds.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a PC release in the future.

Additional Music

katzenjammerAs was looking at tour dates for some bands, I often find myself looking up other bands who are also touring the local venues. It’s sometimes good to find the bands you’ve missed tour information about, also you can discover some new gems and that’s what happened this time. So over the last week i’ve bought all 3 of the KatzenJammer albums which all of the family appear to enjoy listening to and went down well mixed into a playlist for car journeys.

On hearing a few of the songs they reminded me of the fantastic band DeVotchKa who I’ve had the pleasure to see live twice (If you’ve ever watched the film Little Miss Sunshine you will most likely have heard them). The mixture of instruments gives the music a good mix when you approach an album.
However unlike DeVotchKa who mostly swap to alternative instruments, KatzenJammer share the instruments and vocals on most tracks, which it gives each song an unique feel.

So now the question is do we go to Bristol in November to see them?
